I was offered a job that required me to commute here once every two weeks, and my first thought was: should I take it for no tax shopping? All in all, Portland is a beautiful city, but I think one that must either be enjoyed with a big group of friends or with a significant other. It’s very sleepy, very weird, and probably not a city I will be making my way back to anytime soon.
